Wordpress Goldmine has been popular among niche site creators and bloggers alike for quite some time now. I was working on a project for one of my clients couple of months ago and decided that it would be the perfect opportunity for me to put the Wordpress Goldmine to the test.

A: Yes, I’m actually surpried that Mark doesn’t have it at $100-150 as it is clearly worth that (and even more)

Q:  Will the Wordpress Goldmine generate money for me?
A: Yes and No. It is a great program that will guide you through the setup and marketing of your own unique niche sites and show you how to monetize them. You however have to choose which products to promote, write the blog post, articles, squidoo pages and more needed to drive the targeted traffic to you niche site. But it is the best program I’ve seen that helps you create niche sites or to begin an adventure in blog marketing.

When you buy the Wordpress Goldmine you get an access to a membership forum where you can download the e-book, Wordpress Goldmine, access to all the training videos and you can post questions, read discussions and take part in all your normal forum activities.

I downloaded the book and started reading and i ahve to say that Mark and his editor have done a great job. The book is well written and it is so easy to understand that almost any idiot (not that you are one) could build his own niche site and start making money. Mark takes you through every process step-by-step and doesn’t miss a thing. I know that I am a bit of a veteran when it comes to this topic since I’ve been creating websites for 12 yars but there were a lot of new things I learned from Mark. He really knows what he is talking about.

Each and every step is explained thoroughly

Part I – The Basics
The book starts with Mark telling you a bit about the book and what it is he will be teaching you and explaining the 5 parts of the book.Then he goes straight to teaching you how to install Wordpress. He recommends using HostGator for hosting your sites. I totally agree with him, I use them for most of my sites and just love them. He shows how to use the HostGator Cpanel to install a Wordpress blog and then shows you how to change the default settings of it to make it better suit your needs. He also talkes about various plugins and explaines them and other essentials that will make  a huge impact on the success of your site.

After showing how to setup and use your Wordpress niche site he shows you how to promote your site. He both shows you general things to do and also has a list of things you should do after each post for maximum effect and coverage.

Part II – Content
In part two Mark goes through the basics creating valuable content for you site. He shows you how to create and write good content and also tells you about PLR articles, how and where to hire writers and explains the importance of unique content. He is focused on you not spending more money than you absolutely have to but he is still recommending some great tools and services like the Unique Article Wizard and Instant Article Wizard Pro. I think this is great, I have use both those products and just love them. It would have been great for me if someone had showed me those tools last year!

Part III – Monetization
This is probably the part where I made the most discoveries. It is a great chapter on how to make money online, where to find products, what can happen, how and so on. Mark really goes into details here which I love and I think this is one of the best material I have seen on how to monetize using webpages. If you are not going into affiliate marketing but have your own products to sell on your company website this chapter is also super important to you as it can teach you new things (that’s what happened to me!)

Part IV – Blog promotion
In this chapter the focus is on how to drive targeted traffic to you blog.  There is some really valuable information on how to use articles to promote your blog and Mark really nails it here. I have found so much wrong information online regarding article marketing that I had almost given up hope but Mark has restored my faith,  he is one of the few that know what really matters in article marketing. He also touches a bit on Web 2.0 and social bookmarking explaining how to use other sites to promote your own and increase your rank in search engines.

Part V – Mastering WEB 2.0
This is the final pieace of the puzzle to Wordpress Goldmine. When you have mastered the other chapters and created at least a couple of sites this is the next step. In this chapter Mark goes into details of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), how to use free blogging communities and social bookmarking sites. He also explains Wiki and wiki pages and how you can benefit from them. There are also some great resource lists in there. Social networking sites also get explained. When you have mastered this chapter you will have so much firing power for your site that it is unbelievable.

Conclusion | 4 stars

Wordpress Goldmine is simply fantastic. It does not matter if you want to create niche sites, go into blog marketing or just need more info on how to promote you company’s website, shop or blog, you will definatley benefit from buying Wordpress Goldmine. Then why only 4 stars? The book itself gets 5 stars, no question about it. But the forum was a bit confusing for me and almost every time I use it I find it difficult to navigate and have ahard time finding what I need. So I decided to slash of 1 star due to inaccessibility.
